Asian people love their noodles and ramen is the favorite noodle in Japan which I also love very much. Instant ramen is cheap, easy to make, and available everywhere. For instant ramen, however, I prefer Korean version instead of Japanese ones.
The key to delicious ramen is the broth. Some like thick broth with a lot of flavor and some prefer light and clear broth. For me, ramen needs thicker broth than udon with more ingredients.
My favorite Japanese restaurants to eat ramen is Ajisen Ramen. The ramen in this place is absolutely heavenly, with a lot of ingredients, perfect broth, and spiciness. Sushi Tei’s broth is too clear for me without much ingredients. Takigawa’s ramen is good enough, but not very special, at least to my tongue.
