I don’t eat steaks often but sometimes I have craving for steaks. I ate at this place before, a few years ago. (Yeah, I only eat steaks several times in a year). One thing I missed from this place is the free cassava crackers. They gave free cassava crackers a while back. I think this is a good way to keep customers happy with relatively low cost.

Their price seemed to remain quite stable considering the raise of prices, so that this place have good price for now. We ordered a local sirloin steak, a snapper steak, 2 ice teas. The sirloin steak, snapper steak, and 2 rice is package meal for around Rp 60.000,- or so. The ice tea was Rp 3500,- each. We ended up paying around rp 77000,- or so for this meal.

We waited a bit long, but it was worth it. Everything we ordered was delicious, except for the rice which was a bit cold. The portion is not too much, but certainly makes the price quite economical. The snapper does not taste fishy at all, which often happen with most fish steaks. The seasonings were perfect and absorbed into the meat. They got additional barbecue sauce we could add ourselves and the chili sauce was good. The side vegetables and fries were also good.

The beef was a bit tough, but that is local beef for your. If I ordered the package with New Zealand beef, it’d cost Rp 89000,- so it’s quite good price for imported beef.

The biggest plus of this restaurant is the price and the quantity of the food. I’d rather eat here and eat at fast food restaurants. It only cost a bit more, with higher quality meal. I hope they don’t charge more after reading this review though. ?.
